Lyka has been in the industry for about 2 to 3 years and trained at Honolulu Aesthetics and Nails Academy. Like many artists starting out, timing was one of the biggest challenges. Learning how to create clear definition between different lash styles also took time and practice.

Instead of letting those struggles slow her down, Lyka focused on improving. She kept practicing, studying her sets, and putting pressure on herself to keep learning and perfecting her craft.

She finds inspiration in lash artists who continue to grow, build their businesses, and push themselves to become better in the industry.

Her advice for new lash artists is simple. If the passion is there, keep learning. Seek advice and guidance from others in the industry. Do not give up and never think you are not good enough for this craft. Keep trying.
