by Michelle Rebay on Jul 03 2026
Meet Isabelle Morales @slayedbyiz from Vancouver, Washington. 🤍 Isabelle has been lashing for 4 years and completed her training in Vancouver. Like many lash artists, one of her biggest challenges when she started was improving her speed and efficiency. Instead of giving up, she stayed committed to practicing every chance she could. She even offered free appointments just to gain more experience and become faster with every set. One thing that makes Isabelle unique is that she draws inspiration from herself. As someone who personally loves wearing lash extensions, she's passionate about creating beautiful sets that help others feel just as confident. What keeps her motivated is knowing there's always room to grow. She believes that with patience, consistency, and dedication, she can continue becoming an even better lash artist. 💭 Isabelle's advice for aspiring lash artists: "Never give up if it feels hard or you think you don't have the patience for it. Everything comes with time and repetition. Keep putting in the work, stay motivated, and trust that it will all come together." Thank you, Isabelle, for sharing your journey with us. We can't wait to see your beautiful work and celebrate your growth with the lash community! 🤍     WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? We truly appreciate and value every one of you. by Michelle Rebay on May 31 2026
Meet Alexa Domínguez Cordova from Buckeye, Arizona 🤍 @alexa_lashesbrows Alexa has been lashing for 2 years and 8 months and currently holds 10 certifications after taking courses in two different countries. Her journey started with a strong passion for beauty, independence, and building something of her own. Like many lash artists, one of her biggest struggles in the beginning was timing. Since she has always been very detail oriented, appointments would take longer while she focused on making every set look perfect. Through consistent practice and working with many clients, she slowly became more confident and efficient behind the lash bed. What inspires Alexa the most is being able to run her own business and do something she genuinely loves every day. The freedom of creating her own schedule and being her own boss continues to motivate her to grow in this industry. Her advice for future lash artists, beginners, and those currently struggling: “Trust, be patient, and be consistent 🤍” Every experienced lash artist once started where you are now. Keep practicing. Keep learning. Your growth will come with time.     WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? We truly appreciate and value every one of you. To show our support, we plan to promote you and your work within our community. Each week, we aim to highlight one lash artist. We'll display their talent on several of our social media channels. Meet Lariza Wilson @beautifiedbyriz📍 Ashburn, VA   Lariza has been lashing for 4–5 years and trained in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Like a lot of artists, one of her biggest struggles early on was isolation.Instead of rushing through it, she spent time practicing every day. Hand making fans, working on separation, improving little by little until things started feeling more natural. One thing that stood out to me was how much she talked about consistency. Not trying to be perfect overnight. Just sitting down and practicing the craft regularly. Lariza says she inspired herself to enter the beauty industry. She fell in love with the creativity behind lashing and enjoys being able to create different styles that fit each client differently. What keeps her motivated now is seeing artists grow from home based businesses into something bigger for themselves and their families. She also mentioned how rewarding it feels seeing clients genuinely happy after seeing their lashes. Her advice for newer lash artists: “Always practice, do not give up, and don’t compare your work to others. Each person is different, and we all make our own creative work. Take your time and work at your own pace. Don’t let others make you feel rushed.” Go show her some love 🤍 @beautifiedbyriz     WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? by Michelle Rebay on May 17 2026
Meet our Featured Lash Artist ✨@lashandgroom She began her lash journey in 2016 after training online with PhatLash UK, starting what has now become a 10-year career in the lash industry.   One of the biggest things she had to overcome while learning was creating symmetry and even fullness on both eyes. She practiced constantly, offering free sets, working on strip lashes to study placement and technique, and observing retention closely by checking her work on friends throughout the week.   What drew her into the beauty industry was the ability to give clients a high level of care and customer experience. For her, being an esthetician is more than providing a service. It’s about helping people feel more confident, empowered, and comfortable in themselves.   She believes lash artists have the ability to encourage self care habits and positively impact how people see themselves, especially in today’s world.   Her advice for future lash artists: Take care of yourself first. This industry can be rewarding, but it can also be draining if you don’t create balance. Fill your own cup so you can continue showing up for your clients and the people around you. Show love and support to her lash page @lashandgroom     WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? We truly appreciate and value every one of you. Featured Lash Artist: Jessica Lopez @rawandradiantbyjess Jessica is based in Fresno, CA and trained at Milan Institute. She’s been lashing for 5 years. When she started, making fans and keeping her sets consistent took time. She used to compare her work and question if she was improving fast enough. What helped was staying consistent with practice. She worked on models as much as she could and kept going, even on slow days. Over time, her sets became cleaner and more consistent, and her confidence followed. She says what keeps her in the industry is her clients. Being able to create a space where they feel comfortable and leave feeling better than when they came in is what makes the work worth it. Seeing their reaction after a set still matters to her. For anyone starting out, her advice is simple. Keep practicing, don’t rush your progress, and learn as you go. Everyone improves at their own pace. Show Jessica some support in the comments 💌   WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? We truly appreciate and value every one of you. FEATURED LASH ARTIST: Abigail Renteria

by Michelle Rebay on Apr 13 2026
Abigail didn’t start confident. She started like most artists do—second guessing her work, taking 5–6 hours on sets, and feeling like everyone else was ahead. Now she’s known for soft, natural sets that actually fit her clients… not trends she felt pressured to follow. Meet our featured lash artist, Abigail Renteria @etherealuxe.x.abby based in Central Valley, California. Trained at Paul Mitchell The School Modesto, Abigail built her foundation in esthetics before refining her artistry through real client work and consistent practice.   What shifted everything for her wasn’t just technique. It was deciding she didn’t have to be everything for everyone. She leaned into natural lash sets. She stopped people-pleasing. She found her own rhythm. And that’s when things started to click. Her journey wasn’t perfect.   Imposter syndrome still shows up. Timing didn’t come easy. Isolation made things heavier than it needed to be.   But she stayed. She experimented. She adjusted. She kept going.   Now, what drives her is simple: The industry keeps evolving… and so does she.   New techniques. New products. New ways to create.   It never gets stagnant—and that’s what keeps her in it. If you’re where she used to be…Taking too long Overthinking every set Questioning if you’re even good enough   You’re not behind. You’re just in the part no one talks about.     WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? We truly appreciate and value every one of you. Her clients are the reason she keeps going — not just for the lashes, but for how they feel after.   You can tell it’s more than just a service for her. FEATURED LASH ARTIST: Emmalee @esti.emmalee 📍 Maitland, FL 🎓 Trained at Elise Esthetics/Dermalogica & Annie M Lash Academy (Orlando) ⏳ 6 years in the industry   Emmalee’s journey started with art. Her dad was a sculptor. Both of her parents were painters. Creativity was always around her.   But instead of canvas… she chose lashes. In Florida, you need to be licensed in cosmetology or esthetics before getting lash certified. So she enrolled in esthetics school — and the week she graduated, she got certified in lashing. The rest is history.   Now, what keeps her going? Helping women wake up feeling beautiful. Combining art with confidence. And seeing the pride in her two little girls’ eyes when they watch her do what she loves.   That’s everything.   💬 Her advice for beginners & struggling lash artists:• This is not a competition. It’s you vs. you.• Be willing to learn — always.• Some lessons only come through failure.• Use lash models (she still does when testing new styles).• Uplift other women in the industry. “Lashing is an art form. Her wrist just wouldn’t stay still, no matter how hard she tried. So she did what most people won’t. She practiced. A lot. On her doll head. On friends. Over and over until it finally clicked. What kept her going wasn’t perfection — it was the lash community. FEATURED LASH ARTIST: Takeydia Smith

by Michelle Rebay on Jan 12 2026
Meet Takeydia Smith@beautybytee📍 Miami, FL Takeydia’s lash journey started in South Florida, where she trained in everything from classic lashes to mega volume, along with multiple styling-focused classes. From the beginning, she understood one thing clearly: great lashes aren’t just about application — they’re about enhancing the client’s natural features.   She’s been lashing since 2014, and like many artists, her biggest early challenge was mastering eye styling so sets looked balanced and natural on every client.   Instead of settling, she leaned into education. Takeydia continues to take classes every year, learning new techniques and refining her skills so she can better serve her clients. That commitment to growth is what keeps her work elevated.   Her inspiration came from a simple but powerful moment — meeting a lash artist at a natural hair convention who sparked the idea that this career was possible. That single interaction changed her path and led her to the industry she now loves.   What keeps her going? The creativity. The connection. And the confidence her clients leave with. Helping others feel good will always be her biggest motivation.   💬 Advice for aspiring & struggling lash artists: Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Surround yourself with people who uplift you. Get involved in the lash community. Never rely on just one training — learn from different educators and stay open to growth. And most importantly, don’t give up. Keep lashing. You will get better. 🤍   This is the kind of passion, education, and community we believe in at ThousandLashes. If Takeydia’s journey resonates with you, this is your reminder: growth comes from staying curious, staying connected, and never stopping your education.       WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY? When Alyssa first stepped into the lash world, she faced common hurdles—timing and retention—but she didn't let that stop her.Through dedication, she improved her lash placement and experimented with various products until she found what truly worked for her.Inspired by her sister, Alyssa dove into the beauty industry and quickly found her rhythm. What keeps her motivated? She's constantly taking models and trying new lash styles, always pushing her creativity and skill to the next level. One of Alyssa’s favorite pro tips for fellow lash artists: “After lashing the top layer, take a gel pad and gently peel back the lashes you’ve already done—this exposes the bottom layer and helps you achieve a fuller, more seamless set.”Alyssa Griffin is a rising name in the lash community, and she’s only getting started.Show love and support to her page ❤️   @legallylashedxo       WANT TO SHINE IN OUR LASH COMMUNITY?
