This week's featured lash artist is Melissa Cisneros, known as @lashes.by.melissa on Instagram. From Buckeye, Arizona. 

Melissa began her lash journey three years ago after training at the Peonia Belle Academy. Starting out, her main challenges were building a clientele and trusting in her own abilities. She realized through consistent practice that not only was she skilled, but she also genuinely enjoyed the art of lashing.

Inspiration to pursue lashing came from her sister and the encouragement of other artists in the industry. What keeps Melissa motivated is the joy and confidence her work brings to her clients. It's the satisfaction of enhancing their natural beauty that fuels her passion for the industry.

For those starting out or facing struggles, Melissa’s advice is simple: prioritize quality education and training, practice diligently, and seek wisdom from those with experience. She emphasizes that dedication and hard work can lead to a rewarding career in lashing. To all future and current lash artists, she says, don't be afraid to take risks—success is within reach.
