Meet Naomi Beard @naomis.enchantedesthetics, a talented lash artist based in Metro Detroit. Trained by @ebllashes and @lostartistrylash.

Naomi has been lashing for two years. Like many beginners, she struggled with timing and often felt anxious, thinking clients were upset due to the long duration of her appointments.

However, Naomi overcame these challenges by pushing through those thoughts, focusing intently on improving her technique. With dedication, her speed improved over time. Naomi draws inspiration from strong women in the lash industry like Madi from Lightheart Lash, Kaitlyn from Lost Artistry, and Liz from The Babe Cave Indy.

What motivates her the most is the look of joy on a client’s face after a fresh set, especially when the client had previously been unable to see their natural lashes due to aging or light hair color—those moments tug at her heartstrings.

Naomi’s advice for future or struggling lash artists is simple: keep going! She started by juggling three jobs and taking clients whenever she could. Now, she’s a full-time lash artist, proving that if you believe in yourself and work hard, success will follow.
