WHAT ARE PROMADE VOLUME LASHES?
Promade fans are lash fans that are entirely handmade by the lash artist, with no machines. Some lash artists prepare this in advance for their client's sessions or make it during the lash appointment and applied to the client's lashes in real-time.
While this is a great way to practice, it does not allow you to save more time because making fans is time-consuming, while others purchase it from their preferred lash brand.
Before applying the fan to each natural lash, you must carefully determine the extension diameter, length, and weight. Just a quick tip, remove the fan from the bottom rather than the top.

HOW TO APPLY PROMADE LASH FANS TO MAXIMIZE RETENTION?
- Slowly dip your lash fans into the glue drop in the middle.
- Make sure your fans are wrapped in a smooth, not watery or slippery, dab of glue.
- Make the most of the contact places between the natural lashes and the promade fans. To maximize retention, apply from underneath or one side of the lashes.

HOW TO PLACE THE PROMADE FANS?
The lash fan should be 1-2 mm away from the lash line for the best results. It's essential to keep the extension away from the lash line because it will create redness, irritation, and discomfort if you put it on your client's skin.
TIP: If you're using a slow-drying time glue, be sure to hold the extension in place to prevent it from sliding into the side, maintaining proper isolation while attaching the lash extension.

HOW TO USE LOOSE PROMADE FANS?
- Use a silicone pad. Place a bunch of loose fans on top of the silicone.
- Separate the fans with your tweezers and position them in a line. To cut down on application times, do this as you go through the appointment or prepare them ahead of time.
- Dispense a small amount of adhesive onto the palette.
- Separate the natural lashes from the rest of the lashes. Using the glue, coat the fan about 2mm.
- Repeat the process with the fan on natural lashes. In no time, you'll be able to create stunning volume sets!

CONCLUSION
When doing volume lash extension or working on lash fans, I recommend using boot tweezers. They have a big sweet spot making it easier to pick up off strip and hold the extensions until you apply it to the natural lashes.
If you haven't mastered hand-making fans, or if you're working on your timing and want to do a volume lash set while you're practicing handmade fans, it will help you with timing, so if you're starting a set hand-making your fans and you're running out of time, I would recommend using promade made fans.
As a result, your sets aren't taking too long, and you keep your prices high.
