Hybrid Lashes Vs Classic Lash Extensions

Can I go from classic to hybrid lashes? What is the difference between classic lashes and hybrid lash extensions? What's better, hybrid lashes or classic?

These are the two most popular lash extension techniques, but what is the difference between them? Lashes are one of the essential parts of a makeup routine. Whether your client like a natural look or a dramatic one, there are so many different options they can try!

In this blog, you will learn the difference between classic and hybrid lash extensions and how to remove lash extensions safely.

Do you have a client with a wedding or special event coming up and need to look their best? Maybe they just want to make their regular day-to-day beauty routine look even more beautiful, regardless of why lash extensions can benefit your clients.

However, there are several different types of lash extensions to choose from. The two main types of lash extensions are classic and hybrid ones.

Classic lashes

Classic Lashes, Ultra Crystal Bond, Incredible Retention Primer and Super Bonder are used in this set. To shop, please click here.

CLASSIC LASH EXTENSIONS

The classic lash application is essentially one-to-one. Apply one extension to one natural lash. It's a beautiful, natural-looking look.

The ideal thickness/diameter is 0.10 to 0.18. The most popular length for classic lashes is 0.15 mm. For classic lashes, 0.20 and 0.25 are not advisable.

When we talk about classic lashes, we refer to a single extension applied to one natural lash. It will give your client a nice natural look, but there are many different ways to use it and so many little things you can do to improve your classic lashes.

Think ahead about what you're using on your clients and how it will benefit them. Remember, don't use the same weight, length, and lash curl on each client because everyone is different, and just because your client asks for a classic set doesn't mean it has to be a classic lash set.

It could be a classic wispy lash set, a classic complete lash set, a classic color set, or a classic fluffy lash set. You can do different styles, and you want to show your client that they have options even if they only wish to have classic lashes.

0.10 is appropriate for lashes that are very delicate and weak. 0.12 is perfect for clients who want a very natural look. For clients with relatively healthy lashes who prefer a complete look, 0.15 and 0.18 diameters are advisable.

HYBRID LASH EXTENSIONS

A hybrid lash set is an a little bit more volume. It's a combination of one-to-one lash applications with the addition of 4D-5D lash fans. It provides your client a fluffier look while being very natural.

Hybrid eyelashes are ideal for clients who don't want their lashes to be overly dramatic or too natural. The ideal thickness/diameter: 0.05 to 0.07 and 0.15 to 0.20.

HOW DO YOU PUT ON CLASSIC EYELASHES?

STEP #1

Place your tweezer in the middle of the extension when picking up the classic lashes. It shouldn't be too high or too low. If you set it too low, the lash glue will stick to your lash tweezer, and if you put it too high, you won't have enough control over the extension.

STEP #2

Slowly dip the extension, coat around 2mm. The amount of glue applied to the lash extension is related to the speed at which you put the lash into the adhesive.

STEP #3

The classic lashes can be placed on the top, bottom, right, or left side. It doesn't matter as long as you focus on appropriate lash placement at the base. Before letting go, wait for a second or two, depending on the speed of your adhesive. You can change the direction of your lash extensions if necessary.

Do it as soon as possible before your lash adhesive dries.

HOW TO APPLY HYBRID LASHES?

To create a hybrid lash set, you'll need to experiment with different lash curls and lengths. Classic lashes require at least one lash curl and two sizes. The lashes (classic) will give your lash set a spiky look.

Begin by applying the classic lashes. It ensures that the spikes are spread evenly throughout the set. Place the volume lashes after you've finished place all of your classic lashes. The classic lash spikey look may still be visible because the volume fans are less curled and shorter. Repeat until the entire eye is complete.

CONCLUSION

The rule of lash safety for lash application, including classic and hybrid lashes, is to use extensions that are at least 2-3 mm longer than the client's natural lash. If the lashes in the inner corners of your client's eyes are 6mm, the lash extensions should be 8mm. The lash extensions should not be longer than 15mm if the client's lashes in the middle of the eye are 12mm. It is a good rule to remember if you don't want to hurt your client's lashes.
