Optite Low Humidity Adhesive is a unique lash adhesive that works in low humidity environments. HOW TO STORE OUR LASH ADHESIVE
Always store your adhesive in a standing position, away from direct sunlight, ideally in an airtight container. Always put a sticker with the date you opened your glue. Be sure to wipe the nozzle after every use of the glue.
Our adhesives are good for 4-8 weeks after opening. Once the glue consistency changes, the adhesive efficiency is reduced, and it's time to replace the adhesive.
Our adhesives are stored at room temperature in an airtight container.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You can change the glue drop once the glue consistency has changed, and the glue has a stringy consistency.
NOTE
Alllash adhesivesneed to be handled with extreme caution and the utmost care. When opening any bottle of adhesive whether new or used you must open the adhesive away from the lash station not by the client's head or where the lash service is taking place.

Is Velour beginner friendly?
Velour is built for advanced artists. Its 0.5-second cure rewards speed and precision, so it shines once you're working efficiently — generally 1+ year full-time and 1,000+ sets. Newer artists often find it sets faster than they can place, so it's not the ideal first adhesive.
How long does one bottle last?
For most full-time artists, a 5 ml bottle lasts roughly 1–2 months with daily use. Refreshing your drop often — rather than working from an old bead — keeps performance consistent and helps the bottle go further.
Why am I not getting 8-week retention?
Retention is a system, not just glue. The usual culprits are environment and prep: confirm your room sits at 30–55% humidity and 70–76°F, lashes are cleansed and primed, your drop is fresh, and bases are attached with the right amount of adhesive. Aftercare matters too — clients should cleanse daily and avoid heavy oils.
How should I store my adhesive?
Store it upright in a cool, dark place, away from heat and direct sunlight. Reseal tightly between uses, wipe the nozzle clean to prevent clogging, and shake well before every use.
Can I use Velour for Classic and Volume?
Yes — Velour works beautifully across Classic, Hybrid, Volume, and Mega Volume. The thin viscosity keeps handmade fans open with zero wicking, which is exactly what volume sets need.
What humidity works best?
Velour performs best at 30–55% relative humidity, paired with a room temperature of 70–76°F. A hygrometer at your station helps you stay in range for the fastest, most consistent cure.
When should I replace my bottle?
Replace your bottle once the adhesive thickens, turns stringy, or slows down noticeably — usually a few weeks after opening, even if product remains. Longer dry times or fans starting to close are your cue to open a fresh bottle.
