You do need to press a little harder to close all the way but they all have a natural sweet spot. Heavy enough and on the short side. Overall they work well, even better than some expensive ones I’ve gotten.

These are great tweezers, took a punt based on the good reviews as I didn't want to pay a fortune for some tweezers. I wasn't disappointed they are great, much better than the ones I lost and I thought they were good. Haven't used the pointed ones yet but for the price it was a no brainer to get the set.
