WHAT IS NANO MISTER?

You may have heard of lash extensions causing eye irritations because of the chemical used in the glue. A nano-mister is used to mist water across the extension. Additionally, it feels good.

A nano mister initiates the glue's curing process; the adhesive needs time to finish curing.

TO USE:

  1. Use only distilled water, and a super bonder may also be used.
  2. Avoid shock polymerization unless you like the eyelashes to be completely white and icy.
  3. A 15ml water storage unit can be refilled after around 7 to 8 uses (depending on the type of your nano mister)
  4. At least 15 inches should distance you from the client's face.

WHAT IS EYELASH BONDER?

Bonder, Bonder, Bonder – whether you are a beginner or an experienced lash artist, it doesn't matter because we all want our client's lashes to last as long as possible.

The super bonder's role is to increase the adhesive's elasticity, improving the bonds' flexibility and retention. It quickly polymerizes the glue without shock curing. When the adhesive fumes are sealed, irritations and sensitivities are much diminished.

Utilizing cyanoacrylate, the lash bonder starts the curing process inside, driving dampness out and producing a tighter bond. Super Bonder seals the adhesive's porous surface, keeping any adhesive fumes contained within the adhesive bond while the water curing evaporates from it.

The bonder is designed to cure the lash adhesive quickly! The bonder cures the bond from the outside to the inside, unlike the mister who initiates the curation process. A client will feel no to little discomfort from fumes because of this quick process.

The lash bonder can be used with all lash extensions: classic, volume, mega volume and hybrid.

TO USE:

  1. Wait two minutes before using the Super Bonder after the last lash application.
  2. On a microfiber brush, add 2 drops. Never soak. The brush shouldn't be completely submerged in the bonder but just damp.
  3. Wipe adhesive bonding areas.
  4. Give it two minutes to dry. (No need to use nano misters or nebulizers after)

IF YOU USE TOO MUCH BONDER, WHAT HAPPENS?

Super bonder, a liquid that provides a stronghold, is essential for lash extensions. The bond will weaken if you use too much bonder, though. Your glue will cure swiftly without a bonder in extremely high humidity (over 78 percent). Thus adding one would be equivalent to applying too much product.

Lashes, Velour Lash Adhesive, Incredible Retention Primer, Super Bonder, and Disposable Micro Swabs are used on these sets. To shop, please click here.

TIP: You can achieve maximum retention when paired with an incredible retention primer.

Now that you are aware of the difference between these two, let's quickly review them to help you make your decision:

LASH BONDER

NANO MISTER

No to very little irritation, decreases fumes

Comforting feeling to the client

Cure the adhesive immediately from the outside to the inside

Accelerate cure time but more on the outside only

Swaps out nano mister or nebulizer

Super bonder can be added to the nano mister

Choosing the right tool depends on what you value most for your lash services:

  • Go for the Lash Bonder if: You want a robust tool that cures lash adhesives deeply and reduces the chance of irritation, making it ideal for clients prone to sensitivities.

  • Choose the Nano Mister if: You prioritize client comfort during the procedure and need a tool that speeds up the curing process, although it primarily works on the outer layer.

ARE BONDER AND SEALANT THE SAME THING?

If you've ever wondered if these two terms are different, you're not alone. Bonder and sealant are interchangeable terms, except for one important distinction: Super bonder has a firmer bind, which reduces flexibility at the adhesive bonding areas and blocks glue fumes.

CONCLUSION

When comparing a nano mister vs a super bonder, it can be beneficial to look over the potential pros and cons. Even though they initially seem similar, there are notable differences between them that should impact how you approach using them.

There is no right or wrong in the end answer to this topic. Many lash techs choose to use both, depending on how they feel that day or what works for them most. Some lash artists even go so far as to use a mix of the two. Ultimately, there's no one way to do things in this industry. It's crucial that you feel at ease using your tools. If you're not happy with your client's lashes, don't be afraid to experiment with other products or techniques until you find one that both you and your clients will like!
