How to relax during eyelash extensions? How do I stop my eyes from twitching with eyelash extensions? Aside from wanting to make our clients beautiful, their comfort during their sessions is one of our priorities.

It is natural for our eyes to twitch when sleepy or stressed. That's why we, as lash artists need to know how to make our clients more comfortable during their sessions.

It will be hard for first-time clients to close their eyes for quite a long time for first-time clients. Are you one of those lash artists who have trouble with clients shifting their eyes and twitching during application? When putting lash extensions, twitching and moving the eyes might be a significant problem—the chance of adhesive going into the eye increases if the eye is continually moving.

It can also cause you to not apply the lashes correctly on each lash resulting in premature shedding.

Let me share with you some tips to calm their eyes during the application

  • Make sure your client hasn't consumed any caffeine-containing beverages before her lash session.
  • Cut out a piece of lash patches in the shape of a circle.
  • Apply it to the eyelid, and this will block the light. It will help the client sleep.
  • Try keeping the talking to a minimum. When talking, the eyes seem to flutter a bit more.
  • Check if the light being used is bothering your client. If so, try to dim the light to the lightest possible.

CONCLUSION

If your client’s eyes are bothered by the light, it is important to proceed slowly and carefully. Ensure that the lash light is placed at a distance.

If you are unsure if a light upsets your client’s eyes, ask them! If they say yes, ask them if anything bothers their eyes and make sure to use precautions if there aren’t.
