Ever wonder why your lashes are falling out? These are the reason that you might be doing for causing this to your precious lash extensions.
NATURAL SHEDDING
It is normal to shed a few lashes every day, Your lashes will be replaced by new baby lashes. And when you have eyelash extensions on, your eyelash extensions will fall out with your natural lash.

WEARING MASCARA
The point of having a lash extension is to actually stop using mascara. Therefore when I see clients wearing mascara on their brand new lashes, it makes me a little upset. Mascara can break down the bonds in the adhesive of the extensions, and it doesn’t look good either.

lash artists errors
As far as we are concerned that the lash artists knows what she’s doing, However, there is still a possibility of your lash artist making mistakes, that can have an effect on your lash retention. This can happen by using cheap and inefficient lashes and products.

RUBBING YOUR LASHES
When you have your lash extensions, there are still things we needed to avoid such as rubbing your eyes, this will really ruin the set that you just had. Please try to avoid this action. I will especially discourage clients to play with their lashes by pulling on them.

SLEEPING STYLE
We sleep in different position, however, this can have a big impact on your lash extensions. Sleeping on your stomach will increase the chance of rubbing your newly applied extension on your pillow and will eventually cause them to fall out prematurely. I would suggest using a lash mask when you are sleeping.

lash washing
How do we care for our skin? We use skin products and we are washing our face regularly. This will be the same with your lash extension, poor hygiene will be a big factor as to why your lashes are not lasting. We always suggest washing your lashes regularly. Use a lash foam as your shampoo and a soft lash brush to clean up the gorgeous set that you have. How often should we wash our lashes? I strongly suggest once daily. This will ensure that all the dirt and makeup buildup from the day has been adequately removed.
